DSE believes that the investors are the back bone of the securities market and the protection of their interest is of prime importance for the Exchange.
 
DSE has a well equipped Investor Services Centre which acts as a source of useful information for the investors. The investors can utilize the facility of new items, useful books, companies annual report and other relevant information. The centre is also use for conducting investor’s workshops.
 
Publication

The basic objective of the publication department is to keep everybody informed about the development of the stock market in general and DSE in particular.
 
DSE has a dedicated team of professionals to look after its publication department. The Exchange has been regularly publishing a quarterly in-house magazine namely DSE Bulletin. The magazine includes news related to DSE, relevant circulars, stocks and financial market news, updates, various articles and other related useful information.
 
Investor Grievances Redressal
In an endeavour to promote and protect the interest of investors at large. DSE has established Investors Services Deaprtment for the timely redressal of investors' grievances. The Department ensures speedy disposal of cases of investors’ grievance either against listed companies or against Trading Members so as to enhance and maintain investors' faith and confidence in the capital market of the country
 
(a) Investors' Grievances against Listed Companies   Format for lodging grievance against listed companies
Investors' complaints against listed companies are forwarded by DSE to the concerned companies, with a copy sent to the complainant. The investors are advised to inform DSE if the complaints are not resolved within 45 days. If a company fails to redress the complaint within 45 days, DSE sends a reminder to the company. As per common practice, DSE follows-up with the companies and / or their Registrar & Transfer Agents, to resolve such complaints on priority basis. In case of non-disposal of cases by the companies, Exchange initiates for taking disciplinary action against the erring company.
 
(b) Investors' Grievances against Trading Members
In case an investor has some complaint against a Trading member, he/she can also lodge a complaint against that Trading Member with the Exchange giving complete details of the case. DSE is having a set of Arbitration Procedure for speedy and timely disposal of investors’ complaints against members empanelled with the Exchange
